Aracena Tower 2

Aracena Tower 2 is a new residential project in Juan Dolio, in the province of San Pedro de Macorís. The planned high-rise is intended to combine modern apartments of different sizes with a broad range of communal and leisure facilities. It is aimed both at people who want to live in Juan Dolio themselves and at buyers looking for a property close to the beach as a holiday home or investment.

According to the project information currently published, the building is expected to have around 21 levels. Different apartment types are planned, ranging from more compact units to larger homes with several bedrooms. The plans also include several parking levels and two modern elevators.

The announced range of common areas is particularly extensive. Plans include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fully equipped gym, restaurant, cigar lounge, meeting areas, a golf simulator and a pádel court. The published renderings also show a generously designed rooftop area with various leisure and relaxation zones. As is usual with projects at this stage of construction, individual features may still change before completion.

Based on the information currently available, completion or handover is planned for December 2028. The payment model currently advertised is a US$3,000 reservation, followed by a 10% down payment, a further 30% during construction and the remaining 60% on handover. Prices, available units and payment terms should always be reconfirmed directly with the provider before making a purchase decision.

Our impression on site

We have been observing the construction site regularly for several weeks. A positive point is that workers or skilled tradespeople are practically always present and the site gives an active impression. Construction machinery and equipment for the early construction and foundation work can also be seen.

However, the actual progress can currently only be assessed to a limited extent from outside. Most of the property is enclosed by solid construction fencing, so there is very little view of the work taking place inside. At present, no rising structure can yet be seen from the street.

Our current personal impression is therefore: the site is active and work is clearly taking place, but the project is still at an early stage. We will continue to follow the construction progress and document developments with current photos. Over time, this will make it much easier to see how quickly the project is actually progressing.
